Kushantha Gunawardana is an internationally experienced Cybersecurity Strategist, Technical Trainer, Author and Lecturer with more than two decades in the IT industry and over 15 years of specialised cybersecurity expertise. He has delivered training and consulting across more than 20 countries, including Australia, South Asia, the United Kingdom and Europe, supporting professionals across government, corporate and academic sectors.

His consulting and education experience spans incident response readiness, digital forensics, penetration testing, secure cloud architecture, cyber awareness, enterprise tabletop exercises, ethical hacking, security operations and Microsoft technologies. He is known for simplifying complex concepts and converting them into engaging, hands-on and industry-aligned learning experiences.

Kushantha is also the published author of An Ethical Guide to Cyber Anonymity and is undertaking doctoral research in digital forensics. His teaching approach is practical: understand the concept, implement the control, investigate the outcome and explain the decision clearly.
